A Chicago native, Scott graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Science in Speech. Scott completed his graduate education and formal medical training at Loma Linda Medical School, where he finished Summa Cum Laude holding a Master of Science Degree in Physician Assistant Sciences.
With a medical background conceived and cultivated in emergency medicine and hospital intensive care, Scott maintains a practicing medical philosophy that “true listening” is the crux of compassionate patient care.
Scott is a certified HIV Specialist through the American Academy of HIV Medicine. He is an active fellow member of several organizations including the American Academy of Physician Assistants, National Association of Physician Assistants, California Academy of Physician Assistants, American Academy of HIV Specialists, and the Gay and Lesbian Medical Association.
A creative soul and an accomplished artist, Scott’s artwork has been displayed in numerous national exhibitions and galleries, with many of his works found in private and public collections around the world. Scott has also been classically trained in advanced Shakespearean linguistics and performance at The Royal National Theatre of Great Britain.
A true explorer and city boy, Scott has lived in Chicago, New York City, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Phoenix, The Bay Area, and back again in Los Angeles.
